Main Responsibilities:
As a specialized Human Resources Advisor in Health and Safety, you will play a vital role in promoting and overseeing the health and safety of our entire organization. You will be responsible for advising, guiding, and assisting our employees on all matters related to health, safety, and human resources
Duties
More Specifically, Responsibilities of the Human Resources Advisor:
Occupational Health and Safety (60% of the role)
- Manage complete workers' compensation files, including follow-ups, disputes, medical assessments, and cost-sharing requests.
- Conduct investigations and analyses of accidents and incidents.
- Chair the health and safety committee.
- Coordinate workplace health and safety prevention activities (risk analysis, OHS audits, improvements, etc.).
Consulting Role and Labor Relations (20% of the role)
- Provide support to employees on human resources issues and the application of the collective agreement.
- Develop, promote, and implement various human resources management policies and programs.
HR Activities (20% of the role)
- Participate in organizing various social mobilization activities.
- Produce internal communications to employees.
- Support the HR team through various assignments.
- Many other tasks related to human resources.

Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or any other equivalent education.
- Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of occupational health and safety.
- Being a member of the CRHA/CRIA order (an asset).
- Excellent knowledge of the French language.
- Having a "hands-on" approach;
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes and unexpected events;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Autonomy and strong organizational sense;
- Judgment and discretion.
